"YOUR HOSTS"
DWAIN WOODLEY AND MARC KLIGMAN
One of the most unique aspects of “In the Know” is the dynamic synergy between the two hosts, Marc and Dwain.  Marc and Dwain were partners at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office back in 1996 and have been friends ever since.

DWAIN WOODLEY
Dwain is 39 years old and he grew up in Maryland.  He attended Western Maryland University where he played varsity basketball and football and then went on to graduate with a law degree from University of Maryland Law School.  Dwain is widely known for being a great hoops player throughout the San Diego recreation basketball community.  Dwain is a former U.S. Naval Officer who worked at the National Security Agency.  After leaving the U.S. Navy, Dwain worked for six and a half years as a criminal defense attorney for the San Diego County Public Defender's Office.  Dwain then left the criminal defense field and was hired as a San Diego County Deputy District Attorney, now assigned to the gang unit.   Dwain is married to Stephanie, a deputy public defender, and they have two children who attend a Spanish immersion program in elementary school.  Dwain coaches a variety of sports in the South Bay youth community.

MARC KLIGMAN
Marc is 36 years old and was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but grew up in Stamford, Connecticut, a suburb of New York City.  Marc played football, basketball, and baseball in high school and varsity baseball at The Johns Hopkins University.  He attended law school at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.  Marc has coached youth baseball players during the summer on the San Diego Aces from 1993 to 2004.  Marc worked as a deputy public defender for three and a half years and then opened up his own private criminal defense practice in June of 1999.  Beginning in 1998, Marc founded Total Care Sports Management, a firm that represents major and minor league baseball players.  Marc is an observant Jew and affiliates with a Chasidic worldwide movement of Chabad-Lubavitch.  Marc has had features done on him in the San Diego Union Tribune, Channel 10 Sports, San Diego Jewish Journal, and the North County Bar Journal. Marc is married to Laura, also an attorney, and has three children and a dog.
